Khalil Y. Helou, M.D. is our senior pathologist, originally coming on staff with Blue Mountain Pathology in 1981.  Originally from Tripoli, Lebanon, Dr. Helou completed his undergraduate work at Portland State College (University), Portland, OR and American University of Beirut, School of Medicine in 1969. His professional and postgraduate work was completed at the American University of Beirut, School of Medicine.  His pathology residency  was the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Internship and Residency program at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, New York in 1981.

Active Licenses:  Oregon and New York

He is a member of the College of American Pathologists, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, Oregon Medical Association, Oregon Pathologists Association and the Pacific Northwest Society of Pathologists.
