Larry Adams, M.D.
Dr. Adams joined us in 1991.
Originally from Chicago, IL, Dr. Adams completed his
undergraduate work at Valparaiso University, Indiana in
1973. He graduated with honors from the
University of
Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria School of Medicine
in 1978.
Internal medicine internship at St. Francis Hospital,
Peoria, IL was completed in 1979 and his pathology
residency at the Methodist Medical Center of IL was
completed in 1983.
Certifications: American Board of Pathology;
Anatomical and Clinical Pathology
Dr. Adams is licensed in the states of: Illinois,
Arkansas, Mississippi, Oregon, Idaho and Washington.
Dr. Adams serves as medical director of Good Shepherd
Community Hospital in Hermiston, OR. He is also medical
director of the main lab of Interpath, Inc. in
Pendleton, as well as smaller Interpath satellite labs
in Boise, ID and Yakima, WA. He is a consultant
pathologist at St. Anthony Hospital (Pendleton, OR),
Grande Ronde Hospital (LaGrande, OR), Pioneer Memorial
Hospital (Heppner, OR)
He is a member of the American Medical Association,
Oregon State Medical Society, American Association of
Clinical Chemists, College of American Pathologists and
the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Dr. Adams
is also a fellow of latter two organizations.
He has special interests in the fields of clinical
chemistry, interpretive data, and hematology.
